ABOUT ME

Who are you?

My name is Owen, and I'm 22 years old. Earlier this year, I took a job in Maine, USA for Youth Journalism International. During my job, I had the chance to travel all over the North-East of the USA and when I finished the job, I took the train across the country, travelling for just over a month.  There were some very long trains.

So what can we expect?

Over the next few weeks, I'll be posting a wide variety of content about travelling the USA and a whole host of other things. We'll see some really pretty pictures and interesting tidbits about cities all over the country but also some interviews with notable people along the way and features examining some of the United States problems, that aren't shown on your average documentary. 

Why are you doing this? 

My main reason for doing this right now is because of an assessment for a module I am doing in my final year of university as part of my Journalism degree. This final year really counts so the time you are taking to interact with this site and view the content means a lot to me. Thanks!
